Mexico's Secretary of Health Stops All Business Activities Not Deemed "Essential" Through 4/30/20
Effective immediately, Mexico's Secretary of Health ordered all nonessential businesses to cease operation. Automotive manufacturers and their suppliers were deemed nonessential, therefore, we have suspended operations in our Chihuahua, Mexico facility until further notice. This does not affect our Elmhurst, IL location.

Bosch Declares Force Majeure, Affecting Waiblingen, Germany Plant Through 4/18/20
On March 25, 2020 Bosch notified us that they are significantly reducing production from March 25th through April 4th, with their Waiblingen, Germany plant closing from April 5 through April 18. We anticipate these reductions by Bosch and reductions or stoppages of other companies within our supply chain may lead to delays in our own ability to perform. While we continue to distribute parts as scheduled given current inventory levels and expected shipments, Chief Enterprises is taking the pre-emptive step to declare a Force Majeure.
