University of Illinois Engineering Students Help Chief
Chief Participates in U of I Engineering Senior Project
For the second consecutive year, Chief participated in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering Program's Senior Project. Over the past semester, three Engineering students analyzed and presented a solution to one of our recent business challenges.
Engineering Students Tasked with Improving Chief Processes
The success of Chief's BRIC® product line has been followed with new challenges in the assembly process due to large projected production increases. The students from UI Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering Team helped us streamline our assembly process by identifying bottlenecks and automating some of the manual operations, in return reducing the overall assembly time by as much as 24%.
