January 2018 Employee of the Month



Chief has launched an initiative to strengthen our team atmosphere with a monthly featured employee. This exercise will not only allow us to grow as unit but will allow our customers and vendors to learn a little more about us!



January's Selection



Our January Employee of the Month is Ben Gabelman. Ben is a Customer Support Specialist in the Shipping Department and has been with Chief for 10 years.

What's the best thing that's happened to you this week?: Had a nice date with the girlfriend



What memory do you most treasure?: Caddying with the Chief



What's the strangest talent you have?: Not sure if it's a talent, but I retain a lot of random pop culture trivia



What are you most scared of?:Dentist Tools - it's like they put you in a horror movie.



What is you favorite movie? Why?: Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope, because of the action, intrigue, comedy, and iconic characters



What makes you laugh the most?: Will Ferrell & Chris Farley Movies



If you ruled the world, what would you change on Day 1?: Put scientists to work on the Delorean, time travel would be fun!



What are three things still left on your bucket list?: Travel to Japan, Germany, and Australia



If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose and why?: Teleporting - it would be nice to be anywhere you wanted in an instant



What is your favorite animal? Why?: Dogs because they have personality!



Where is your happy place? : Nashville



What part of your current job is your favorite?: Solving problems for the shipping department and making the warehouse a better place



What fad or trend do you hope comes back?: 80's Hairmetal



What's the best Halloween costume you've ever had? : When I was a kid, I went as a television



What was your first job?: Caddying and doing odd jobs at Chief



What do you wish you knew more about? : Everything!



What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend? : Listening to live music, having a drink with family and friends
